Multiple Positions for Post Doctoral Research Associates

The Center for Demography of Health and Aging (CDHA) at the University of Wisconsin- Madison invites applications for multiple postdoctoral research associate positions with research interests in one or more of the following areas:

  1. applying advanced demographic and econometric methods to understand the importance of place of birth on later life health and mortality
  2. estimating the effects of specific policy/contextual/family level factors during early life in explaining later life health and mortality using newly available “big data”

The new postdocs will work in collaboration with Jason Fletcher, Alberto Palloni, and several other UW-Madison faculty as well as Josh Goldstein and colleagues at UC-Berkeley on multi-year research projects funded by the National Institute on Aging. Appointments can start as early as December 2022, but start dates through September 2023 are possible. CDHA provides a research and training environment that is strong in collegiality, computing, geographic information analysis, and administrative services.
