The University of Wisconsin–Madison invites applications for a position in the area of Social Genomics beginning July 2023. Social Genomics is a field of research that integrates theories, data, and methods across the social, behavioral, health, and genetic sciences. This position is one of three hires in this area and is part of an interdisciplinary cluster hiring initiative, designed to foster innovative, outstanding research programs that will stimulate productive interactions among faculty and students interested in the integration of genetics and social science research across the campus and to expand interdisciplinary research in this area. The successful candidate will have their tenure home in the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics with a potential joint appointment in Sociology, Psychology, Population Health Sciences, or another related department.
