On March 18, the Center for Aging and Policy Studies (Syracuse/Cornell/U-Albany) will host the next session of the NIA Aging Centers’ Collaborative Virtual Methods Workshop Series: “Uncovering Sociological Effect Heterogeneity using Machine-Learning.” Speaker Jennie Brand (UCLA) will present emerging machine learning methods based on decision trees that allow researchers to explore sources of variation that they may not have previously considered or envisaged.
