The North American Data Documentation Initiative Conference (NADDI) 2019 will take place in Ottawa, Canada from April 24 to April 26. The Data Documentation Initiative (DDI) is an international standard for describing the data produced by surveys and other observational methods in the social, behavioral, economic, and health sciences. The conference theme is “Benefits of Describing Statistical Production and Variables.” Anil Arora, Chief Statistician of Canada, will give a keynote presentation, “Enabling Modernization of Official Statistics with Metadata Standards” on April 25. Early rate registration closes on Friday, March 29.
