(May 4, 2018) CDHA Welcomes New Director, Jason Fletcher
The Center for Demography of Health and Aging (CDHA) executive committee has selected Jason Fletcher to become its next Director, effective this month. CDHA has been funded through the National Institute on Aging for nearly 20 years and works closely with the Center for Demography and Ecology (CDE) to promote demographic research and training at UW-Madison. (March 19, 2018) Harmonized HRS Data Released
The Health and Retirment Study (HRS) has recently released a harmonized version A dataset using data from Wave 1 through Wave 12. It includes demographic, health, physical measurement, and functional limitations variables. The Harmonized HRS is available for direct download in Stata, SAS, and SPSS format. Visit HRS Data Products page to access this dataset. Users first need to register at HRS website and agree to the Conditions of Use before they can access HRS public release data.
