Brian Hartman’s current research interests include Bayesian methods and their applications in actuarial science and risk. He has worked in various capacities with companies in property-casualty, health, and long-term care insurance. Before BYU, he was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Waterloo (2010-11) and an assistant professor at the University of Connecticut (2011-15).
