Four P30 centers—CDHA and the Center for Aging and Policy Studies; Center for Advancing Sociodemographic and Economic Study of Alzheimer’s Disease; and the Center on Aging and Population Sciences—will host two methodology workshops with Scott Cunningham in 2022.

• A one-day workshop on difference-in-differences will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 from 10 am-6 pm ET
• A three-day workshop on causal inference will be held May 17-19 from 10 am-6 pm ET

On April 14, the Hilldale Lecture Series in the Social Sciences will welcome Anne Case, Alexander Stewart 1886 Professor of Economics and Public Affairs Emeritus at Princeton University. Over her career, Case has written extensively on health over the life course. She received the Kenneth J. Arrow Prize in Health Economics from the International Health Economics Association for her work on the links between economic status and health status in childhood and the Cozzarelli Prize from the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences for her research on midlife morbidity and mortality. Case is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Medicine, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the American Philosophical Society. This event is co-sponsored by CDHA and the La Follette School of Public Affairs. Since 1973, the Hilldale Lecture Series has showcased distinguished thinkers whose contributions to contemporary culture and science have received international recognition and acclaim.
